Job Full Description
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Primary Objective: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately pulling customer orders, manufacturing custom filters, unloading stock trucks, stacking inventory, and conducting occasional roof-top filter changes on a quarterly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pull filter orders and assist customers at the front will-call desk.
- Manufacture custom filters using tools such as a table saw, measuring tape, and stapling assembly.
- Load and deliver shipments using branch or customer trucks.
- Ensure proper rotation and maintenance of inventory.
- Prepare orders for outgoing shipments/deliveries via FedEx and regular freight carriers.
- Utilize pallet jacks to safely and efficiently move inventory around the warehouse and shipping facility.
- Receive incoming stock shipments by unloading trucks and stacking inventory.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse, including sweeping, trash disposal, and weekly cleaning of bathrooms.
- Assist with product returns, restocking, re-inventorying, and proper disposal of products.
- Demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills.
- Adhere to all safety and housekeeping standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with phone applications.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail in a business environment.
- Team-oriented with good coordination skills.
- Ability to frequently lift 15 pounds overhead.
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand written and verbal instructions in English, including completing daily paperwork and forms.
