Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Austin, TX
Shifts: Day Shift or Swing Shift (must be flexible to work evenings and weekends)
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to serve as the key link between the production team and management. This role is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, managing workflow, coaching team members, and supporting company goals related to safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish), adaptable, and have a strong background in manufacturing, warehousing, or packing.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule daily workflow and material handling to ensure smooth and efficient operations for assigned shift.

Supervise all production activities and maintain high visibility on the manufacturing floor to support and guide employees.

Forecast and manage staffing needs based on production demands; support hiring, onboarding, training, and development in collaboration with HR and management.

Provide regular coaching, feedback, recognition, and corrective actions as needed.

Set and maintain standards for safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

Work closely with quality control to ensure product standards are met; take corrective actions when necessary.

Partner with HR and Division Management to handle personnel matters such as vacation requests, timecards, overtime, and performance issues.
Additional Responsibilities:

Support the implementation of policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.

Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to resolve production-related issues.

Maintain working knowledge of production-related systems (Sage, Ops Center, Crate Maker).

Oversee safety programs and ensure all team members complete required safety training.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, crating, packing, warehousing, or a related industry.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal communication).

Proven experience leading, training, and motivating a team.

Strong knowledge of safety practices and ability to promote a safety-first culture.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new systems and tools.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; committed to excellence.

Must have reliable transportation.
