Job Title: Production Planner/Scheduler
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: Based on experience (around $31.00 per hour)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Planner/Scheduler to join our team. This is a hands-on position that combines production planning, scheduling, and supervisory responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and skilled in both clerical and leadership tasks to ensure production goals are met efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer and company demands.

Monitor inventory levels, material availability, and workflow to ensure production runs smoothly.

Coordinate with various departments (production, purchasing, shipping, etc.) to ensure schedule adherence.

Supervise and lead production associates, providing direction, training, and performance feedback.

Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and resource utilization.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to scheduling and production.

Assist with problem-solving on the production floor to minimize downtime and delays.

Ensure compliance with company safety policies and production standards.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Production Planner, Scheduler, or in a similar manufacturing leadership role.

Strong clerical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and production scheduling software.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
