Job Title: Warehouse Foreman / Shipping Lead
Summary:
The Warehouse Foreman / Shipping Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring all shipping and receiving activities are completed efficiently and accurately. This role includes supervising warehouse staff, maintaining safety standards, monitoring shipments, and ensuring on-time delivery. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate outbound warehouse operations to ensure all weekly orders are completed accurately and on schedule.

Delegate workloads, monitor progress, and communicate order status and issues to management.

Oversee packing, labeling, and palletizing of outbound shipments.

Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.

Verify that all shipment paperwork is complete and accurate.

Notify management promptly of any delays or missed pickups.

Pick and stage orders accurately from designated inventory locations.

Enforce and promote warehouse safety standards among all personnel.

Support process improvements and develop efficient warehousing procedures.

Maintain accurate inventory counts and participate in cycle counts as needed.

Assist inbound operations when required and ensure smooth coordination between teams.

Keep the outbound dock area clean, organized, and free of clutter.

Train new team members on outbound procedures and operational changes.

Perform end-of-shift closing and lock-up duties.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Weekly outbound volume and weight targets achieved.

Picking accuracy rate maintained below target error percentage.

Team production averages meet or exceed daily goals.

Minimal trailing or unshipped orders each week.
