Job Title: Safety Coordinator (Bilingual Preferred)
Schedule: Swing Shift (Must have open availability, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to support and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures. This role is responsible for promoting a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards, and assisting with safety training and incident prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce all safety policies and procedures on the floor
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits
- Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; complete reports
- Ensure proper use of PPE at all times
- Assist with safety training and onboarding for new employees
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation
- Partner with supervisors and management to promote a culture of safety
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Previous safety or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (reports, tracking, documentation)
- Knowledge of OSHA standards is a plus
Requirements:
- Must have open availability for swing shift schedule
- Ability to stand, walk, and monitor operations for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs (as needed)
