Recruiter (High-Volume Recruiting) - Austin, TX

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Are you a people person who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to provide temporary recruiting support for a busy team in Austin. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with candidates, building relationships, and managing a high-volume workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume phone screenings with candidates
- Manage a large pipeline of applicants and maintain timely follow-up
- Assess candidate qualifications and determine fit for open positions
- Schedule interviews and coordinate hiring activities
- Maintain accurate records within applicant tracking systems
- Provide an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Meet recruiting metrics and hiring deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or HR recruiting experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable spending approximately 90% of the workday on the phone with candidates
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
