Industrial Blaster/Painter $18/HR
Our client, an established manufacturing company in the Conroe area, is seeking qualified Industrial Blaster/Painter to join their production team on an immediate basis. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent placement upon successful completion of the initial assignment period. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and mix paint and paint equipment
- Perform surface preparation via sandblasting, hand sanding, pneumatic sanders, and grinding tools
- Apply masking tape to protect surfaces
- Apply primer and paint according to specifications
- Ensure quality finish on all painted surfaces
- Operate overhead crane to move materials and equipment to staging areas
- Transport equipment and materials as needed for production flow
Additional Duties:
- Cross-train in other manufacturing areas to meet production schedules
- Stand and work actively for 8+ hours per day
- Work weekends as required by production demands
MUST HAVE:
- Proven sandblasting experience (must be clearly listed on resume)
- Hands-on experience with 2-part epoxy paint systems (must be clearly listed on resume)
- Exceptional attendance record - We need candidates who show up on time, every day
- High attention to detail - Precision and quality are critical
- Reliability and dependability - Your team will count on you
