Maintenance Technician I- $23/HR- DOE
A local company in Willis is searching for a Maintenance Technician with 1+ years of industrial experience to assist in daily operations. This is a temp-hire position with growth opportunities. Interested candidates, please send updated resumes to Latrisha.Jones@expresspros.com
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to read and write English
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work occasional night shifts and some Saturdays as required
- Flexibility to adjust hours/days based on production deadlines and workload
Responsibilities
- Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
- Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions
- Perform regular preventive maintenance according to the established PM schedule
- Locate sources of problems by observing and listening to mechanical devices in operation
- Complete pre-operation equipment inspections and report any issues identified
- Set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools (training provided)
- Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Assist with the installation of new production equipment and required infrastructure
- Read and interpret work instructions and execute work accordingly
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
