Job Title: Lumber Fabrication Worker
Location: McAllen, TX
Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday (Overtime as needed)

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Lumber Fabrication Worker for a respected manufacturing company in South McAllen. This is a hands-on opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work, can read blueprints, and want to be part of a team that builds structural wood components like timber and lumber trusses.
Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints to measure and assemble lumber trusses accurately

Use hand tools such as hammers and measuring tapes to assemble wood structures
-
Operate safely around compression machinery used for wood fabrication

Work efficiently on an assembly line in a fast-paced environment

Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE (e.g., gloves, glasses)

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Requirements:

Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools accurately

Comfortable working in a hot environment and standing for extended periods

Must be able to lift materials and work with hand tools

Willingness to work overtime as needed

Team player with a strong work ethic
