$15/hour
Motor Bank Hours: Monday-Friday 7:20 am-5:30 pm with a 1-hour lunch break; Saturdays are rotated the hours are 7:50 am-12 Noon
Main Bank Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:50 am-5 pm, Friday 7:50 am-5:30 pm, with 1-hour lunch break; rotating Saturdays at Motor Bank
Job Summary:
A Bank Teller is responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing. They ensure the accuracy of transactions, maintain security protocols, and assist customers with inquiries related to their accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing.
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
- Handle cash and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Assist customers with account-related inquiries and resolve basic banking issues.
- Promote and explain bank products and services to customers.
- Follow security procedures to prevent fraud and ensure the safety of banking operations.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance or business is a plus).
- Previous experience in customer service, cash handling or in banking preferred.
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with banking software and office applications.
