Utility Entry-level Billing Clerk
$18 Hourly
Client of Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Utility entry-level Billing Clerk. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with strong 10-key data entry skills who is eager to learn utility billing processes and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post water bills and other utility charges accurately and timely
- Answer incoming billing-related calls and assist customers with inquiries
- Process payments and maintain billing records
- Perform data entry using 10-key and billing software
- Assist with account reconciliations and adjustments
- Support the finance team with clerical and administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- Proficient in 10-key data entry
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn billing systems and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in billing or clerical work is a plus but not required
