Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Yard Hand position for a Tyler, TX Company! The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, be mechanically inclined, and possess excellent customer service skills. We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move products and materials within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking, accurately selecting products for customer orders.
- Load and unload materials and products for customers.
- Maintain organized and efficient inventory systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their needs.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating sit-down forklifts.
- Background in inventory and warehouse operations.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and handle weights up to 80lbs consistently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Experience in Merchandising preferred.
