Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Collections Specialist to join a local company in Tyler, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!
Key Responsibilities:

Recommend, implement, and oversee billing and collections policies and procedures.

Coordinate with billing and collections staff to address and resolve account issues.

Verify billing accounts with accounts receivable ledgers to ensure accurate posting of payments.

Perform collections activities including follow-up calls and account resolution.

Maintain a professional, cooperative, and positive attitude with patients, coworkers, and management.

Ensure collection operations comply with federal, state, and payer regulations.

Identify and process bad debt write-offs and accounts receivable adjustments.

Maintain high standards of compliance and ethical practices.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the administrator.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).

1+ year of collections or billing experience preferred.

Strong computer skills required; knowledge of office machines preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-
Familiarity with billing requirements and processes.
-
Light typing skills preferred.
-
Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
