Express Employment Professionals is seeking a General Labor/Shop Hand to join a local company in Tyler, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!
Job Duties:
-
Breaking down industrial valves
-
Grinding rust off cast iron materials
-
Using wire wheels and grinders
-
Assisting with valve overhauls and shop work
-
Identifying valve parts and helping with parts organization/order prep
-
General shop cleanup and labor tasks
Requirements:
-
Must be mechanically inclined
-
Able to learn quickly
-
Legible handwriting is required
-
Must not be afraid to get dirty
-
Comfortable working around heat, dust, and heavy materials
-
Able to bend, lift, and stay active throughout the day

Reliable and willing to work
Work Environment:

Temperature controlled shop
-
Jeans, T-shirt, and work boots required
-
Heavy lifting and physical labor involved
-
Lots of overhaul work coming in this week
