Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Credit and Collections Clerk position for a Tyler area company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary opportunities. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services! In this role, you will:
- Process payments and credit card transactions
- Contact customers regarding past-due accounts and outstanding balances
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers with account inquiries
- Provide account balance information and payment options
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate account records
- Handle bond-related transactions and documentation
- Follow up with past clients to collect outstanding funds
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Previous collections, customer service, or office experience preferred
- Strong phone communication skills with the ability to handle heavy call volume
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
