Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Business Development Representative position for a Tyler Area Company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary opportunities. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services! In this role, you will:
- Recruit and engage volunteers to support the organization's mission
- Build relationships with local businesses and community partners
- Conduct outreach efforts to increase awareness and involvement in community programs
- Coordinate and revitalize congregate meal sites and senior center activities
- Plan and organize events, especially those serving seniors and community members
- Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities
- Assist with volunteer scheduling, communication, and retention efforts
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Experience in community outreach, volunteer coordination, event planning, or nonprofit work preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to connect with community leaders, businesses, volunteers, and seniors
- Excellent organizational and event coordination abilities
- Public speaking and networking experience is a plus
- Passion for serving the community and supporting seniors
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
