Express Employment Professionals in Athens, TX is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join a local company. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of industrial equipment.
Responsibilities

Repair and maintain conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC motors and 3-phase motors.

Diagnose and repair gearboxes and other mechanical equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
-
Troubleshoot electrical issues to keep equipment operating efficiently.

Assist with maintenance and repairs of general packaging equipment.

Troubleshoot PLCs as needed.
Qualifications
-
Minimum 5 years of maintenance mechanic experience required.

Electrical experience is required.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Experience with PLCs preferred, but not required.
-
Packaging equipment experience preferred, but not required.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
