Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for an Industrial Maintenance Technician position for a Tyler, TX area manufacturing company! We are a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas offering full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. While we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.

Maintain and service press brakes, shears, plasma tables, saws, welding equipment (manual and robotic), overhead cranes, and material-handling systems.

Assist with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.

Help identify and resolve issues involving motor controls, sensors, and equipment malfunctions.

Replace worn or defective components, including bearings, belts, motors, sensors, hoses, fittings, cylinders, valves, and gearboxes.

Read and interpret basic schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals with guidance as needed.

Assist experienced maintenance technicians with equipment repairs and installations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety procedures.
We like to hear from candidates with the following:

Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or mechanical repair preferred.

Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and preventative maintenance procedures.

Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.

Willingness to learn troubleshooting techniques and work under supervision.

Ability to read or learn to interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
