Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Maintenance Technician position for a Tyler, TX area company! We are a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas offering full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. While we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:

Perform general mechanical and electrical maintenance on facility systems, machinery, and equipment.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical distribution systems, HVAC equipment, plumbing, and mechanical components.

Perform pipefitting, welding, cutting, and metal fabrication as needed.
-
Utilize rigging equipment to safely move, position, and install machinery and equipment.
-
Perform maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
-
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Complete preventative maintenance inspections and repairs to minimize equipment downtime.

Maintain accurate maintenance records using computerized work order systems.

Perform ISO-related inspections and checks while following company safety and quality standards.
We like to hear from candidates with the following:

Previous experience in industrial or facilities maintenance.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and pipefitting.

Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment repairs.

Familiarity with rigging equipment and forklift maintenance.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

Strong mathematical skills and experience using computerized maintenance work order systems.

Understanding of preventative maintenance procedures and ISO quality standards.

Ability to work independently, prioritize repairs, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
