Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM; Saturdays, 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Environment: Outside, Recycling Yard
Job Description:
We are seeking a hardworking, dependable Warehouse Associate / Recycling Yard Laborer to join a growing team. This is a long-term position with a company that values reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse operations, forklift operation, general labor, or outdoor industrial work environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and separate recyclable metals in a recycling yard environment (training provided)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard
- Assist customers with materials and general inquiries
- Operate equipment including:
- Sit-down forklift (required)
- Bobcat/skid steer (preferred or willingness to learn)
- Move and handle large metal materials and recyclable goods
- Perform general labor tasks and assist wherever needed across the yard
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, outdoor work environment
This is a hands-on, all-around warehouse and yard associate role, not a single-task position. Flexibility and teamwork are key.
Requirements
- Sit-down forklift experience (required)
- Bobcat/skid steer experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to lift, move, and sort recyclable materials
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take on a variety of tasks
