Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience to support daily operations in a food production environment. This role is responsible for maintaining machinery, facilities, and grounds to ensure maximum equipment uptime, operational efficiency, and food safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive industrial maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and machinery
- Conduct daily preventive maintenance (PM) and maintain accurate documentation
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Work with AC/DC motor starters, pumps, and PLC controls
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly to minimize downtime and avoid production delays
- Support building and facility maintenance, including grounds upkeep
- Read and interpret equipment diagrams and schematics
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 0–3 years of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience with:
- Electrical systems
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- PLC systems
- AC/DC motor controls
- Pumps and industrial machinery
- Stainless steel welding experience required
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Technical school or college degree preferred (Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or related field)
