We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our thrift store team.
The Cashier will be responsible for greeting customers, processing transactions accurately,
answering questions, and helping maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>

<li>Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner</li>
<li>Operate the cash register and point-of-sale system</li>
<li>Accurately process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions</li>
<li>Bag purchases and assist customers as needed</li>
<li>Answer customer questions and provide excellent service</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked checkout area</li>
<li>Assist with pricing, tagging, and restocking merchandise when needed</li>
<li>Balance cash drawer and follow cash-handling procedures</li>
<li>Follow company policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines</li>
<li>Support team members with general store duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred</li>
<li>Basic math and cash-handling skills</li>
<li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li>
<li>Dependable attendance and punctuality</li>
<li>Ability to stand for extended periods</li>
<li>Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team</li>
