Job Details

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment used in the processing of silicone-based products. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to thrive in a warm, fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor machinery used in silicone manufacturing processes
• Follow production schedules and ensure output meets quality and efficiency standards
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance
• Inspect finished products for quality defects and ensure compliance with specifications
• Accurately document production data, machine performance, and any issues
• Troubleshoot minor equipment problems and escalate more complex issues to maintenance
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols
• Follow all company safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred (plastics, rubber, or silicone experience a plus)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand work orders, instructions, and safety guidelines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Basic math and measurement skills
