Job Summary

 

The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for assisting walk-in customers with product selection, order processing, and technical support. This role combines product expertise with outstanding customer service to ensure a seamless and positive experience for every client.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the sales counter with product inquiries, orders, and returns
• Provide accurate information on electrical products, pricing, availability, and specifications
• Process sales transactions using the company’s point-of-sale system
• Recommend complementary products and upsell when appropriate
• Maintain organized and well-stocked counter and showroom displays
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to fulfill orders and manage inventory
• Handle customer issues and complaints with professionalism and urgency
• Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and promotions
• Support outside sales team with quotes, order follow-ups, and customer insights

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in counter sales, preferably in electrical distribution or a related field
• Familiarity with electrical products, tools, and applications
• Ability for Forklift certification
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications

Pay Rate $20/hr 

 

Hours Monday - Friday 5:15am - 3pm
