Apartment Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a reliable, skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to assist a client company.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(Some flexibility may be required for occasional emergencies or after-hours needs.)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform apartment turns, ensuring units are ready for new residents
- Complete painting, light plumbing, and basic electrical tasks
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
- Handle repair leads and follow through on work orders efficiently
- Patch drywall, repair minor structural issues, and ensure surfaces are move-in ready
- Inspect and check electrical outlets and fixtures for safety and functionality
- Maintain cleanliness of the property, including grounds cleanup and exterior upkeep
- Safely operate power tools and hand tools for daily tasks
- Assist with other maintenance duties as needed to support the property team
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience preferred (apartment or property maintenance)
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks as required
- Valid Drivers License
