Job Full Description
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Parts Sales Counter Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with parts inquiries, orders, pricing, and product availability
- Accurately identify, source, and recommend parts based on customer needs
- Process sales transactions, returns, and special orders using internal systems
- Maintain organized and well-stocked parts counters, displays, and storage areas
- Create invoices and quote customers
- Prepare outgoing orders for pickup or delivery
- Collaborate with service technicians, sales teams, and warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships
- Follow company policies regarding inventory control, safety, and data accuracy
Qualifications
- Previous experience in parts sales, or a related field preferred
- Basic mechanical or industrial knowledge is a plus
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to learn product lines and part identification systems
- Comfortable using computers, sales systems, or inventory software
Pay $20 - 25/hr
Hours 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
