Job Full Description
Job Title: Lead Line Cook
Job Summary:
The Lead Line Cook is a skilled, adaptable, and organized individual responsible for managing the cooking line, ensuring consistent food quality, and maintaining high kitchen standards. This role requires proficiency in all stations (Sauté, Broiler, Pantry, Prep, etc.), strong teamwork, and the ability to respond quickly to changing conditions and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare meals according to recipes and quality standards.

Lead and support Line Cooks during service, including peak hours and closing duties.

Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to portion control, quality, and safety standards.

Assist with inventory control, purchasing, and scheduling based on business needs.

Create and plan menus and daily/weekly specials with appropriate documentation.

Maintain sanitation and safety compliance; inspect equipment and materials regularly.

Deliver excellent internal and external customer service and resolve concerns professionally.

Maintain accurate records and complete daily prep lists and visual inventory checks.

Work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, and special events.
