Job Title: Office Manager JD
Location: Aberdeen, Washington
Job Type: Full-time / In-office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with occasional overtime as needed.
Compensation: $22 - $26 per hour (experience dependent)
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Aberdeen office, managing phone calls,
emails, and visitor reception with professionalism and efficiency.
Maintain organized and accurate filing systems, both physical and electronic, ensuring
easy retrieval of information.
Manage office supplies and equipment, including ordering, inventory tracking, and
ensuring proper functionality.
Coordinate daily office cleaning, maintenance and repairs, liaising with vendors and
ensuring a safe and comfortable work environment.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing paperwork and office setup.
Support human resources functions, such as maintaining employee records and assisting
with recruitment efforts.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth
operation of the office.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business
administration or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar
administrative role.
Proficiency in Google Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant office
software.
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to
prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and courteous
demeanor.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles is a plus.
Experience in the seafood industry is an advantage but not required.
