Job Full Description
No prior experience is required — this is a hands-on opportunity to learn the carpentry trade while starting with general labor responsibilities. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to grow into higher-skilled roles within the company.
Key Responsibilities
? Load, unload, and move tools, equipment, and building materials
? Clean and organize job sites to ensure a safe, productive environment
? Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and securing materials
? Learn how to safely use hand and power tools
? Support carpenters on framing, finishing, and installation tasks under supervision
? Follow safety procedures and use protective gear at all times
? Help keep company vehicles clean, stocked, and ready for use
? Collaborate with team members and take direction from Leads/Foremen and Carpenter
Qualifications
? No experience necessary — bring a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
? Ability to follow instructions and work respectfully as part of a team
? Reliable, punctual, and motivated to build a career in carpentry
? Willingness to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in all conditions
? Comfortable using a smartphone for communication, photos, and basic apps Reliable transportation to the shop location
? Ability to take constructive feedback, follow direction, and work as a respectful team member
? Driver’s license and reliable transportation to shop location
? Must be eligible to be insured under company vehicle insurance (requires employees to be 21+ years of age)
Physical Requirements
? Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
? Stand, climb, bend, kneel, and work in variable outdoor conditions.
? Comfort working in fast-paced, physically demanding environments.
? Regular manual labor including carrying materials and digging
