Greet and assist members and visitors courteously, providing prompt and accurate service for all transactions.

Develop and maintain knowledge of credit union products and services; identify and promote options based on member needs.

Open and maintain member accounts, including IRAs, share certificates, and other deposit products.

Issue cashier’s checks, money orders, and certificates of deposit.

Process account information, verify eligibility, order checks, and manage related correspondence and reporting.

Place holds, stop payments, and handle account maintenance requests as needed.

Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries via phone, email, and mail.

Communicate with members regarding transactions, fees, transfers, and account issues.
-
Process and reconcile daily deposits, payments, and postings.
-
Send notices for overdrafts and other account updates.
-
Authorize service fee refunds within policy guidelines.
-
Assist members in balancing accounts and monitor dormant accounts, encouraging activity when possible.

Prepare monthly reports and correspondence for supervisory review.

Process loan and mortgage payments and close accounts as necessary.

Handle domestic and international wire transfers.

Support fellow Member Service Representatives as needed.

Balance cash drawer daily and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain teller station supplies and ensure materials are stocked.

Reorder debit cards and process renewals, replacements, or fraud-related requests.
-
Set up and educate members on A2A and ACH transfers.
-
Manage travel notifications and Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) activity; review and post or deny deposits.

Stay current on applicable regulations, security, and credit union policies and procedures.

Enforce adherence to established security and operational procedures.
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
