Full Time
10 hours/day
5-6 days a week
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure veneer ribbons flow through clipper properly.
• Monitor Ventek grader and moisture meter.
• Monitor all trays ensuring no plug ups.
• Clean area at the end of shifts.
• Notify lathe operator if there are nicks in the ribbon.
• Adjust clipper rolls if needed to ensure good clip quality.
• Monitor re-chipper camera and notify furnace operator of plug ups.
• Understand how to use HMI controls.
