Job Full Description
The Escrow Assistant position will report to the LPO/Escrow Officer in regard to the daily tasks needed. The candidate for this position should possess a service-oriented mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong communication skills; written, in person and by phone. This person should have the ability to multi-task while maintaining an upbeat and professional demeanor and needs to have the skills to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented atmosphere. Good decision-making skills are a must.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in Title &/or Escrow, Real Estate or Banking
- Assist in the administration of contract to close documents, per LPO/Escrow Officer’s instruction, including signings with customers
- Notary Public (If not already a licensed notary, the candidate must acquire license of Notary Public upon completion of 90 day working review period.)
- Assist in disbursement process of the closing of Escrow files.
- Review title commitment and communicate requirements and other information to clients and other escrow personnel
- Open escrows, order payoffs, package documents, mailings, etc.
- File all folder information in electronic Greenfolders program
- Attention for Detail – must possess a good attention for detail ethic
- Customer Service – Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Participate in special projects/after-hours events as required
- Assist with process of daily deposits as needed (Backup)
- Answer Phones – Assist in receiving incoming calls and ensure questions and needs are directed to appropriate person
