Summer Laborer – Apartment Make Ready / Property Maintenance Worker
Pay: Up to $16.00/hour
Looking for a hands-on summer labor job? Express Employment Professionals is hiring Apartment Turn Laborers / Property Maintenance Workers to help get apartment units ready for new tenants. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in general labor, construction, maintenance, landscaping, moving, or handyman work who enjoy working with their hands.
As a Summer Laborer, you will assist with apartment turnover projects, preparing units for move-in and helping property teams complete seasonal maintenance projects.
Job Duties:

Prepare apartments for new tenants (apartment turnover/make-ready work)

Remove trash, debris, and unwanted materials from units

Move, assemble, and install furniture

Perform basic painting, touch-ups, and patching
-
Complete minor maintenance tasks and repairs

Install fixtures, hardware, and apartment accessories

Assist with cleaning and organizing vacant units

Perform general labor and property upkeep tasks

Help maintenance teams complete summer improvement projects
Ideal Candidates Will Have:

Previous experience in general labor, construction, maintenance, moving, or property services

Ability to use basic hand tools

Comfortable lifting, carrying, and moving furniture and materials

Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Ability to work outdoors and in various conditions when needed

Willingness to learn and take direction
