About the Position
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Coil Technician to join our manufacturing team in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This first-shift position is responsible for building, repairing, testing, and assembling induction coils and related equipment in a safe and quality-focused environment. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate coil winding equipment. [linkedin.com]
- Build and repair induction coils according to specifications. [linkedin.com]
- Install insulation, tape, ties, and identification tags on completed coils. [linkedin.com]
- Use hand tools and measuring equipment to ensure quality standards are met. [linkedin.com]
- Assemble and test furnace components and related equipment. [linkedin.com]
- Perform hydraulic and water testing as required. [linkedin.com]
- Read work orders, drawings, and specifications. [linkedin.com]
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. [linkedin.com]
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools.
- Manufacturing, assembly, electrical, or coil winding experience is a plus.
- Ability to read measuring devices and follow technical instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
