Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Brazer to join our manufacturing team on first shift. The Brazer will be responsible for assembling and joining metal components using brazing techniques while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This position is ideal for individuals with manufacturing, welding, soldering, or brazing experience who enjoy hands-on work in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform brazing operations on copper, steel, and other metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production drawings.
- Prepare parts for brazing by cleaning, fitting, and positioning materials.
- Operate torches, brazing equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements.
- Keep work areas clean and organized following all safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous brazing, soldering, welding, or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Dependable attendance and positive team attitude.
Compensation & Benefits
