Job Full Description
A local Germantown company is looking for a Quality Technician!
Key duties and responsibilities may include:
- Inspection of production material as assigned
- Removing defective items from production, designating reason for removal
- Performing internal QA audits that are compliant with ISO 9011 requirements, corporate policies, practices, and procedures
- CMM Programming (Micro Vu), qualify new or revised products using Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and First Article Inspection Reporting (FAIR) following AIAG guidelines.
- Manage calibration system including setting up outside service calibrations and calibrate certain hand gages (calipers, micrometers, height gages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year certificate from college or tech school, 3-6 years related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of experience and education
- High level of attention to detail and team work oriented.
- Capable of using tape measures, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and optical comparators.
- Ability to proficiently read blue prints for machining, forming, and welding processes.
- Background in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Exchange and previous experience working with ERP systems.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard.
- AQS Certified Quality Technician preferred
Job Specifications:
- Pay Range: $18-23/hour DOE
- Shift(s): 1st
- Hours: Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm
