Job Full Description
West Bend wood manufacturing company looking for a Shipping Clerk!
Key duties and responsibilities may include:
- Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling) and give dimensions and weights to the logistics coordinator.
- Stage finished product for loading using forklifts.
- Load finished product onto trucks and take pictures for documentation purposes.
- Review production requirements / schedule with the Production Manager daily.
- Request paperwork for shipments if needed.
- Other duties as needed / assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Shipping/Receiving or related role required.
- Ability to wrap, push and strap fixtures for shipping.
- Experience operating forklifts.
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
- Easy to work with, organized, and willing to take the lead once fully trained.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
Job Specifications:
- Pay Range: $21/hour
- Shift(s): 1st
- Hours: 7am-3:30pm
