Shipping & Receiving Coordinator/Customer Service Rep./Material Handler
$20+/hr. based on experience
1st shift
Opportunity for overtime
Direct Hire
Role is open due to the current shipping coordinator accepting a role in a different career area. Looking for someone to start and begin training as soon as possible.
Reports to General Manager
100% Must Haves for this person’s background
Prior shipping/receiving coordinator experience
Customer/supplier interaction on a regular basis
Prior experience working in manufacturing or shop environment
Comfortable on a forklift loading/unloading various types of trucks and experience palletizing/wrapping/banding outbound material
Other details
Communication of schedule and lead times with customers based off daily collaboration with shop manager
Receive and disposition all incoming material and assist GM in supplying internal work orders in a timely manner
Prepare, package, label and properly secure all outbound material
Generate all necessary shipping documentation and maintain shipment records
Schedule all outgoing shipments based on customer preferences and deadlines
Provide support and facilitate communication with customers regarding expedite requests, process inquiries, nonconforming material and other action items
