Job Full Description
Now seeking an experienced Structural Fitter/Welder on 1st shift in Watertown! Our client specializes in the design and fabrication of rotary drum dryers, structural steel, feed and seed mill systems, and custom metalwork.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM (optional OT on Fridays)
Pay: $25.00-$30.00/hour
Responsibilities
- Layout, fit, assemble, and tack weld heavy steel components.
- Perform open-table welding and fitting (no jig work).
- Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Maintain quality and safety standards throughout fabrication.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of structural fitting experience required.
- Experience fitting structural beams using open-table methods.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints.
- Reliable, dedicated, and eager to learn.
