Matt and Kim Sullivan have owned and operated the Green Bay Express Employment Professionals office since February 2014. This career move allowed them to join their talents for a noble cause: helping people find fulfilling work and helping businesses find top-notch people.
Prior to launching Express Employment Professionals of Green Bay, Matt was in sales and sales management in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and nutritional supplement industries throughout the country. He graduated from St. Norbert College in 1995 with a degree in Business Administration.
Matt is an active member in the community holding various voluntary leadership positions including: St. Norbert College Alumni Board - Past President, St. Norbert Board of Trustees - Past Member, The Dargan Fellowship of St. Norbert College - Award Committee, Ashwaubenon Business Association - Past President and The Green Bay chapter of Society for Human Resources Management - Past Programming Director.
In addition, Matt is a registered speaker with TEC / Vistage and has spoken at several TEC / Vistage groups throughout WI. He enjoys sharing best demonstrated practices regarding recruiting and retaining good people.
Matt believes nothing is more essential to the long-term success of an organization than its people. He always welcomes an exploratory discussion which leads to mutual benefit.
Kim's passion is helping people. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology from St. Norbert College and a Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota. Prior to Express, Kim worked as a school social worker, completed employment and training research for a small non-profit in Minnesota and stayed at home to care for their two children.
Kim has volunteered with a variety of community organizations including: Decoding Dyslexia-Wisconsin, Old St. Joseph Church, Cub Scouts and the Green Bay Chapter of Mothers & More. She has been a freelance writer for over ten years and continues to write a monthly column for the Green Bay Press-Gazette entitled, "My Life as a Mom".
Kim is an advocate for our associates. She believes wholeheartedly that when our associates win, everyone wins. With this in mind, Express Employment of Green Bay only engages with businesses when the wage to our associate is a living wage. (The average wage for associates working for Express Employment Professionals of Green Bay is over $14.00/hour.) Kim's current role is to manage a team that puts people to work in both office and industrial positions. The staffing team does this through an extensive ISO 9001-approved recruiting process as well as plain old good listening skills. She believes that honest, genuine interactions with associates and clients will always result in the best outcomes.
Kim and Matt's dog, Nellie, can often be found hanging out with guests in the lobby of Express Employment Professionals in Green Bay. She is a friendly, mellow Brittany Spaniel who adores affection and social interaction. When Nellie isn't at work, she can be found at home with Kim and Matt and two kids. She is very tolerant of all her owners' hobbies, which include raising: chickens, ducks, pigeons and bees!
