    Holiday Pay:
    Express offers holiday pay to replace lost wages. If a holiday falls on a scheduled work day for you or your client company, and your client company is closed on that holiday, you qualify for pay if you meet ALL of the following requirements:

    • you work 900 hours in a rolling 26 week period ending one full week prior to the holiday week
    • you are on an Express assignment the week of the holiday
    • you are in a paid status for both the scheduled workdays before and after the holiday

    Pay for the holiday will be up to 8 hours, depending on your regularly scheduled work day, at the regular hourly rate of your current assignment.  Express recognizes six paid holidays per year: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
    *The Express Associate does not have to work 26 consecutive weeks to qualify.

    Vacation Pay:
    This benefit is determined beginning with your first pay period with Express (this will be your “vacation start date”).  This date begins a 52-week period during which vacation may be earned based on the schedule below.  Thereafter, a new 52-week period begins and vacation pay may be earned based upon the same schedule.  If you are off Express payroll for 6 months or more, you will be given a new vacation date upon your return to work, and you will lose any time you have accrued.  You can accumulate Vacation Benefits as determined below:

    • At 1,000 Hours you earn 16 Hours
    • At 1,500 Hours you earn 8 Hours
    • At 2,000 Hours you earn 16 Hours

     A total of 5 days can be earned in a 52 week period.             

    Vacation pay is calculated based on the hours you work for OUR office. It is only paid out for days that have been approved in advance utilizing the Vacation Request Form and signed by both Express and the Client.  Associate must be on assignment to be offered a vacation day.  Express does not extend vacation pay to Associates that do not take an actual day off.  Vacation days that are not used are not paid out at the end of an assignment.
    *All calculations used for holiday and vacation pay include OT hours.
