Meet the Owner

Matt Bocan, Owner
I opened the Winston-Salem, NC, Express Employment Professionals office in early 2014. I am passionate about developing talent and encouraging people to do their best work, while partnering with local businesses to solve their employment challenges. We "sell" integrity, compassion & hope and are in the business of changing lives!

Background
I received my bachelor's degree in business administration at Metropolitian State University in Minneapolis. I began my career with T-Mobile & Verizon Wireless and after a number of years in corporate retail leadership, I joined a start-up venture out of Sioux Falls, SD as a regional developer and opened new markets in Texas and Louisiana.

Family

Lisa and I married in our hometown of St Paul, MN in 2007. Our first daughter, Brenna, was born in 2012 while we were living in Lafayette, Louisiana, and our princess Mila Rose was born in Boston, Sept 2015, but due to complications with CHD, Mila went to be with Jesus in Heaven, Feb 2nd 2016 (http://milasheart.wordpress.com). God has always been faithful to us, and He gave us our healthy & handsome little boy Nolan, born Nov '17! Lastly, we added baby Emery in Oct '21. We also have 2 cocker spaniel / poodle "kids" at home. Lisa is a photographer and owner of Lisa May Photography in Clemmons, NC. We are active members at Rescue House Church and we enjoy calling Forsyth County our home.
