Every year, Express Woodstock challenges local businesses to a wreath making contest. The winning business receives $100 and all wreaths are donated to Wreaths Across America. The wreaths are then placed in the Georgia National Cemetery, bringing a little Christmas cheer to the graves of service men and women. Congratulations to Amicolola EMC for being our winning team for the second year in a row!
The Woodstock Express Team was excited to be able to spend the day packing boxes for Never Alone Food Pantry. The boxes were distributed to local families who might have otherwise gone without this Thanksgiving. It feels good to give back to those in our community and remind them of the encouraging words from this wonderful organization: "When you encounter life's struggles, you are Never Alone."
Congratulations to Foodmate for winning our 3rd Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest. All entries were delivered to the Ronald McDonald House for the kids and families to enjoy.
