Job Summary: Organization and attention to detail is HUGE. Healthcare but preferred pharmaceutical/compounding background is helpful because they'll know the importance of cleanliness. Need knowledge (schooling or work experience) working with microbiology equipment (incubation of samples on a plate).
Here's What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:
- Unbox materials
- Sign in items received and fill out a little paperwork
- Sticking approval sticker and putting them away in appropriate location
- Important that labels are printed correctly on the products (right dosage, info, etc.)
- Operate software for special label printer (will train)
- Monitor printer to make sure labels are printed correctly and keeping track of the number printed; making sure they’re stored correctly
- "Think microbiology type situation" (cleanliness of a doctor going into surgery but not that extreme)
- Will need to gown properly (protective equipment, wash correctly). So someone that has familiarity with this will know the importance
- Conduct routine quality control tests on products to ensure compliance with CGMP, ISO 13485, HACCP, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports on findings for management review.
- Implement and maintain quality systems to enhance product integrity and safety.
- Utilize vision inspection systems to assess product quality during manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in the development of quality assurance protocols.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to quality control.

Qualifications:
- Proficient in quality control and assurance processes, including quality audits and inspections.
- Experience with vision inspection systems and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of quality management systems.
- Understanding of microbiology principles as they relate to quality control.
