Product Service Technician

 

Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Pay Rate: Starting at $16.00 per hour (90 Day Minimum Probationary Period)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, Full Time, with a 1-hour scheduled lunch

 

Position Overview

Manufacturer of Browning Trail Cameras, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Product Service Technician to join our Product Service Facility team. This role is responsible for testing trail cameras, supporting product service operations, and assisting with customer communication.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance while delivering excellent support to our customers and retail partners.

Training will be provided to develop the technical knowledge required for success in this role.

Our offices are conveniently located at the 459/280 corridor.

 

Key Responsibilities

Camera Testing and Evaluation

  • Test non-cellular and cellular trail cameras received from customers and retailers
  • Diagnose camera performance and functionality using established testing procedures
  • Document testing results accurately and thoroughly
  • Maintain organized workflow and proper tracking of all units

Customer Support

  • Respond to customer emails in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist customers by providing clear and accurate information regarding their product

Product Service Facility Support

  • Assist with shipping and receiving of products
  • Prepare cameras and components for testing, repair, or return shipment
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work environment
  • Support additional Product Service Facility functions as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow procedures and document work accurately
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong problem-solving and deductive reasoning abilities
  • Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

  • Interest in technology, electronics, or outdoor equipment
  • Experience with technical troubleshooting or product testing
  • Customer service experience
