Rock Crusher Helper – Calera, AL
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Shift: Second Shift – Starts at 4:00 PM
Location: Calera, Alabama

Job Description
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Rock Crusher Helper to join our team at a local quarry in Calera, AL. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position working around rock-crushing equipment in an outdoor industrial environment. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in dirty, dusty conditions and be ready to assist with daily quarry operations.
Responsibilities

Assist with daily rock crusher operations and quarry production activities.

Monitor equipment and report mechanical issues or unusual operating conditions.

Help maintain a clean and safe work area around crushing equipment.

Remove buildup and debris from designated work areas as directed.

Assist equipment operators and other team members with general labor duties.

Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.

Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting as required.
Qualifications

Ability to work in a dusty, dirty, outdoor quarry environment.

Must be comfortable with physical labor and demanding working conditions.

Dependable attendance and willingness to work second shift.

Ability to follow safety instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Previous quarry, construction, manufacturing, or general labor experience is a plus.

MSHA certification is preferred but not required. Paid MSHA training will be provided for candidates who are not currently certified.
Pay & Schedule

$19.00 per hour to START

Second shift starting at 4:00 PM

Paid MSHA training available for non-certified candidates.

Hands-on opportunity to gain experience in quarry operations.
