About the Role
Lucid Motors is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our Powertrain Team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize industrial and manufacturing equipment. This role is essential to ensuring equipment reliability, maximizing production efficiency, and supporting Lucid’s world-class manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repair on manufacturing machinery and industrial equipment.

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems including control panels, wiring, sensors, and PLCs.

Assist with PLC programming, diagnostics, and system improvements.

Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and managers to improve machine performance and overall operational efficiency.

Support machine setup, calibration, and adjustments to meet production and quality standards.

Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.

Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to reduce downtime.

Follow all company safety protocols, quality procedures, and standard operating practices.
Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in machine maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

At least 2 years of electrical troubleshooting experience, including an understanding of electrical control systems.

Familiarity with mechanical systems, automation equipment, robotics, and industrial components.

Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming preferred.

Knowledge of standard automotive OEM process equipment is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team.

High school diploma or GED required.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
