Safety Manager
Pay: Up to $50/hr DOE
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Safety Manager for a large commercial construction project in the Phoenix area. This role is responsible for leading jobsite safety initiatives, ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting safety training, and promoting a strong safety culture across the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct jobsite safety inspections and audits.
- Lead safety orientations, training, and monthly safety meetings.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments.
- Partner with project leadership to identify and mitigate safety risks.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial construction safety experience.
- OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 with STSC certification required.
- Experience managing OSHA compliance, EMR, and incident prevention.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- CSP, ASP, or CHST certifications are a plus.
- Valid driver's license required.
