Job Summary:
The Service Manager oversees the daily operations of the service department, ensuring quality repairs, customer satisfaction, and efficient workflow for all lawn and outdoor power equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage service technicians and daily shop operations.
- Schedule repairs and prioritize workloads.
- Communicate repair estimates, timelines, and updates to customers.
- Monitor technician productivity and repair quality.
- Maintain service records and warranty documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in diagnosing complex equipment issues.
- Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely parts availability.
- Handle customer complaints and service-related concerns.
Qualifications:
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of lawn and outdoor power equipment.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Experience with service management software preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
