Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) / Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Texarkana, TX. This position is responsible for coordinating warehouse operations, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining inventory, and safely operating a variety of heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in both warehouse environments and equipment operation while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and productivity.
Essential Job Duties
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including:
- Forklift
- Front-End Loader
- Backhoe
- Trackhoe/Excavator
- Other equipment as needed
- Organize, stage, and store materials within the warehouse and yard.
- Assist with inventory control, material tracking, and cycle counts.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
- Inspect equipment before and after use and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist customers, drivers, and team members with material handling needs.
- Complete required paperwork and operational records accurately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment required.
- Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
- Experience working in a warehouse, construction, industrial, or material handling environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
- Basic computer and inventory management skills are a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and equipment operation.
- Ability to safely enter and exit heavy equipment throughout the workday.
